Flooding is better in some places, in others still flooded, some places still are just shy of a flood. Keep getting random downpours. Water level is crazy high currently. Some places are still cleaning up and others still can't. Mostly around here things are okay though.

Been really hot here as well. We are now getting heat advisories. With all this wet it is miserable. It's like a sauna outside.

Yeah sad about the going different ways. Wish we could get everyone to move to one location and get things going as they are now. I'm okay with any of the pages, but so far it seems they are both kinda deadish. I guess everyone is still clinging to GWG. heh

I haven't played in years. So I sit no where. But I usually kept local off. Really only kept guild chat on. Back when SMS was really active anyways. And before that, SFK... That was a good clan before the merger.

Glad things are okay... And with all that water I'm sure the humidity is off the charts...

Finally done with my AP class... 4 days of boring stuff... But the networking I was able to do was great!

yeah, all the other sites are pretty much dead (guru2 was already dead, moving us there aint helping it none--part of why folks dont want to go there, why go to a dead forum?)....think there is a collective breath holding going on that the end is not near....lots of folks are hoping that it wont end. (dang wonder how folks will be when gw ends---ok, so there will probably only be about 10 of us left playing then, but still...wonder how we will feel....)

I forgot about alliances. That was a great time. Really a lot of fun. I kind of miss those days.

We cooled down yesterday and Thursday a bit but right back to the 90's today. Going to be hot the next few days.

Thanks, I think the class was more painful than the surgery lol. When I told my co-worker who was teaching the class his first words were "oh, she is boring" and she lived up to those words... Oh well! It's done!

I wonder if the official forums are what killed Guru2? If most people decided that would be the place to get their information instead of a Guru site. I could see that being a huge reason for the lack of interest in Guru2.

was warm again today---not as hot as yesterday but we did have some rain come thru this morning....didnt have to water the herbs today

Ya the class sadly was not what I was expecting it to be... Wish it had been something more but I have the good luck of being able to teach along side a very experienced APES teacher for the next 3 years. So I'll learn more from him then I could from any other class.

Agreed, we need to treasure the last few weeks we have together here.

Very hot yesterday. Goign to be hot again today. Went for my run and was sweating like a pig when I got home... Hot hot hot...

We are moving too quickly through summer. We need to slow it down!

yeah....the storms yesterday were pretty rough...saw lots of lightning and on the news loads of possible tornadoes in Illinois....even one where there was one last year (on the same day even---think its time to move from there folks!).

today was...very....japan like...hot and really humid (not quite as hot as japan--need to add about 20 degrees, but the humidity was about right --80+% here, ugh).

yes learning while doing will always beat classroom learning.

The storms were pretty nasty around here but luckily no tornadoes near by. I was down at my folks and the real nasty stuff went north of us. The tornadoes all seemed to split between where I live now and where my folks live, so that was good.

Yesterday at my folks it was super humid. Here it was nice and cool. Amazing how 180 miles can make a huge different in temperature.
